Dr. Bash Amien

Dr. Amien completed his family medicine training in Cape Town, South Africa, before moving to Alberta in 2006. While he 

 does see patients in the clinic, his focus is on emergency medicine and he spends most of his time in the emergency department.

Dr. Waseem Hassan

MBBCh, LMCC

Dr. Hassan trained in South Africa and has been a family physician in Canada since 2010. He initially worked in rural Alberta and is now settled into practice in Edmonton. His special interest is in chronic disease management, specifically diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Shannon Lewicke

Dr. Lewicke attended medical school at the University of Calgary and completed her residency training at the University of Alberta. She has a general family practice. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cycling and travelling.

Dr. Lisa World

BMSc, MD, CCFP

Dr. World completed her medical training at the University of Alberta and has been in practice since 2016. She has a special interest in Women's Health, including IUDs and contraception. Outside of medicine, she spends much of her time outdoors or playing sports.

Dr. Victoria Leung

BSc (Hons), MD, CCFP

Dr. Leung completed medical school and residency at the University of Alberta. She has a special interest in Reproductive Health, including IUDs and contraception. She also teaches medical students and residents as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Baird completed undergraduate degree at McGill University. She graduated from medical school and residency at the University of Alberta and started her general family practice at WMPC in 2020.

Dr. Andrea Brown

BSc, MD, CCFP

Dr. Brown completed her medical school and residency at the University of Alberta. She has a general family practice. In addition to seeing patients in the clinic, Dr. Brown also teaches medical students and residents at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Shahiem Hartley

Dr. Hartley completed his medical training in the Republic of South Africa and moved to Canada in 2017 to start his practice at WPMC. Outside of medicine, he is an avid soccer player and supporter of Liverpool FC.

Dr. Laura Mowbrey

Dr. Mowbrey received her undergraduate degree and graduated from medical school at the University of Alberta. There, she continued her family medicine residency training. Dr. Mowbrey also inserts IUDs.

Dr. Rossi completed medical school and residency at the University of British Columbia. Along with a general family practice, she provides complete prenatal care and delivers babies at the Misericordia with the Edmonton West PCN maternity group. She also has an interest in pediatrics and newborn care.

Dr. Breanne Eksteen

Dr. Eksteen completed medical school and residency at the University of Alberta. She has been practicing in the Windermere community since 2022.
